Illness
I have developed a cold/flu and I’m paranoid I’m going to make my 5 week old baby ill. You see all these messages saying don’t kiss or hold a baby if you feel poorly because of what could happen but I’m the only one that feeds and changes him. He will only settle with me so what can I do. I don’t want to make him ill and put him in hospital 🥺🥺😢

If he catches a cold it shouldn’t cause him any major issues and wouldn’t necessarily put him in hospital unless he gets a chest infection or something, you can also get baby cold stuff but before you use anything I’d check with health visitor or even doctor because if the age, he should be absolutely fine it if you’re paranoid maybe wear a face mask when holding him/ feeding him etc so you’re not breathing on him x
I have a cold right now and I put a mask on before I go near him and hope he doesn't catch it
