Pink eye
Hi mamas. My son came home from daycare with gunk in the eye and he was rubbing in one eye. Now it’s both eye but now they are slightly pink. He is 14 months old. What would be some remedies? When do I take him to doctor? Thank you.

Take him to doc and get drops. With gunk,likely bacterial so 24 hrs and he can go back to school. We’ve dealt with both viral and bacterial!
Yes, go to doctor. They have drops or an ointment.
You can also do warm compress with clean cloth w/ chamomile tea to help with the gunk and also if his eyes get stuck together due to that gunk
Doctor visit is needed, no home remedies. You need some antibiotics drops or some eye ointment.
this will not cure serious issues like infections but just lessen the redness and inflammation of the eye.
Correct hence why I said it can help with the removal of gunk while still helping the eye instead of plain water
