Chicken Pox!
My little boy (1 week off being 9 months) contracted chicken box on Thursday (from nursery). Started off as small bumps/blisters but there hasn’t been too many and he’s not had a temperature or anything. Seems happy in himself and doesn’t seem to be itching. Spots appeared 4 days ago. Wondering if it will get worse or it’s just a mild case..
Has anyones else LO had pox & what’s your been your experience?

We have just got over chicken pox, LO had it quite bad, in ears, water line of eyes, nose and mouth along with private parts and chest and back.. LO had a high temp and really unsettled off food etc. we done oats in a sock in the bath to help dry the spots out and help with itching then virasoothe and calamine cream as well. Tbh 1-3 days were bad but after than LO was back to normal self. Now on day 7 and you wouldn’t know LO had it, my eldest had it when they was 2 but it was really mild, wouldn’t even know they had it tbh. They do say that every LO is different with it.. at least LO has had it now 😊
My daughter started with chicken pox last week. 1 day of only 4 spots but then a lot more came up. She had no temperature though so I was a bit slow off the mark recognising it. You can get just a mild case with no temp apparently. She had no itchiness until they started scabbing over. I'd say be pleased your LO is just a mild case like mine! It can be really bad
