I know this may be a stupid question, but when weaning do you give the same thing for around 10 days and then after that try something else for 10 days? I was told this as you need to know for allergies etc but ive brought a weaning book and day one is broccoli day two is courgette day three is avacado. I was going to follow this but now not sure. The book follows purees but with each puree leaving one bit of the veg out softened as finger food.

For non allergens, you can follow the book, different every day, but for allergens you introduce in small amounts spaced out so you can see if there's any reaction and then you'll know what caused it. Solid starts on Instagram, and the app is a great resource in this

From my experience is better to stick 2-3 days to one thing, 10 days is too long and 1 day is too little. My baby’s 1st allergic reaction was 14 hours after i fed him and it was from sweet potato

I think we are following the same book as my first 3 days have been the same. My friend has only sent me photos of the first 10 days so far but I'll be getting the book from her this week.. I'm assuming there's more info on allergens further into the book?
