Milk in a Tum Tum cup
I’ve just started introducing cows milk in the daytime. We use Tum Tum cups for water so thought it was best start milk in there too. Tum Tum cups are not supposed to leak at any angle & it never does with water but hot milk seems to go all over the place. Any tips or is the Tum Tum cup just no good for milk?

Water never leaks for us either but just bought a new one for milk and that was leaking all over the place too! I thought there was something wrong with the cup I got but now I’m not so sure 🤨
I think because it hasn’t got a valve (one of the reasons it’s recommend) it will spill unless the lid is on and down! Ours does a little with water x
it seems to be making more mess than before but maybe I didn’t care so much as it was only water, now I’ve got milk going down her neck and all over the sofa/carpet 😂 but that makes sense
Glad it’s not just me. The cup I’ve been using is fairly new. I will try it in her old cup to see if it makes any difference. Seems odd that milk leaks not water so thinking it’s a temperature issue? 🤷🏻♀️
The Tum tum cup is for cold/room temp liquids only. Not suitable to warm/hot
I’ve just looked this up & you’re right! What cup do you use for warm milk?
I use her bottle for her bedtime formula which is warm, but she has cold cows milk in her tum tum cup in the morning.
