Condenser dryer

I’m thinking about getting a condenser dryer to dry my towels and sheets in during the colder months as i find it a nightmare trying to dry these. I’ve read differing info about putting it in a cupboard space with no door on as one thing I read says it needs to be able to breathe and I’ve read others saying they get rid of moisture in alternative ways and can go in a cupboard space. Has anyone got one in a cupboard space?
