Taking my little one to get her 2-month vaccines today. Please share your experiences - what vaccines did you get? Did any one opt to split up the vaccines a week apart or so? How was your baby’s demeanor in the hours and days following, and what helped them feel better?

We got ours last Friday. 6 total. 3 shots, one oral. He cried for around 30 seconds and then was ok. The only thing I noticed was that he was sleepier than usual. He never developed a fever, but we got infant Tylenol just in case.

Following! Our apt is next week and I’m an anxious wreck about it.

Following

Ours was very similar to what others have said. She got 3 shots, 6 total vaccines and an oral vaccine. She cried a lot right after and we breastfed her in the exam room until she calmed down. She slept for probably 5 hours after which we were told to let her do. She also had a few larger than normal spit ups that night but that’s it. We also had Tylenol ready (doctor okayed it and gave dose based on her weight) but never used it.

6 shots in one day? I’m a mom who doesn’t drive and doing it on my own so going back and forth is difficult. But it’s 6 shots?! Also getting our 2 month shots today

it’s 6 vaccines. There are combination shots that include multiple vaccines. It’s probably going to be either 2 or 3 shots depending on what ones your doctor has.

thank you

Didn’t split any of them up. 2 shots and an oral vaccine which leaked out of her mouth and made me wonder if she even got it all. Her demeanor was actually the same and wasn’t extra fussy or anything. No fever

Mine got his today as well too. Mine got two shots and one oral. Dtap, hib, and polio. he slept a lot today. I gave him Tylenol because the tetanus shot is probably really sore.
