OB recommendation at Humber River

Hi all! I’m very early on… only 5 weeks, and first time pregnant! 🥰 My family doctor who’s in Mississauga asked me to give him some OB names for him to refer me to. We are closest to Humber River Hospital and wondering if anyone here has given birth there? And what your experience was like? And if you have any OB recommendations there or otherwise? Thank you so much!

I delivered at Humber river and had a great experience, amazing hospital with all private rooms during recovery! I had an unplanned c section and wanted to stay longer lol (you only get 24 hrs unless complications). My OB was Daniella Caprara and I really liked her but we delivered on Easter Sunday so she was not in, however the doctors that were there were amazing and I honestly had a great experience. Also my appts leading up to birth with dr Caprara were good and I really liked her except expect long wait times to see her, that’s my only negative

I second Dr. Hawkins, she was amazing and I always felt like I could ask her whatever questions I had etc. That being said, Sterling did my unplanned c section and she was really understanding at that time.

Dr. Mirabelle d’souza is amazing

Dr. Pizzuto in Woodbridge is an amazing OB and she delivers at Humber River Hospital. She’s returning from her maternity leave the ending of March.

@Aishat I didn't get a choice, but I believe this is my OB. I'll be seeing her next month. I'm glad to see a good review about her

I wish I had ur doctor my doctor gave me no choice between a midwife or OB and never gave me a choice to choose which OB I wanted
