Help!! No movement or kicks yet
Hi, so I’m 20 weeks pregnant with a little boy, but I haven’t felt any kicks or movement yet and when I had my last scan 2 weeks ago (18 weeks) he was very active and had a great heartbeat… is this normal??

Yeah it is. I didn’t feel a lot of movement or kicks until nearing the end of my pregnancy due to my placentas position which basically cushioned the kicks according to the midwives
The movements can be very hard to discern early on! Especially depending on placenta placement as Erica said.
My son the placenta was anterior (at the front), so it acted like a cushion and early movements felt more like subtle butterfly's rather than kicks.
Very different this time round with the placenta posterior (behind bubs) - movement feels like strong flicks.
