Baby won’t eat for me but will his dad?

I’ve started to wean my baby and he seems to refuse to eat for me. I time it right so he’s not overtired or starving, I make feeding positive and fun. I try to give him some food and he cries and cries. His dad tries, does all the same things I do and he’ll accept the food no problem. It’s so disheartening and I just don’t understand why. I’m with baby all day and is very attached to me.
