Cityfheps

I received a voucher and moved in July to my new apartment. They sent me a cityfheps 6 month renewal I submitted everything plus paystubs since I am working now. I also put my daughter who will be born within the next 2 weeks on it as well. Does anyone know how long it takes to process the paper work? I wonder if they will make me start paying a portion of the rent. I will be on disability for about 6 weeks and I am taking 2 extra weeks off so I won’t have that much money saved up.

They will go by the income you submitted. Once you go on disability. Call them and tell them you have to modify your income because it's changed. They'll send it. It may take 30 days if not less. I would call them every week until it's processed

thank you!! I don’t mind paying it’s just I need these next 2 months rent free because disability is dirt pay loll. I should’ve added that when I turned in my paperwork but I wasn’t thinking.
