How old is your baby and do you let them watch tv? Like Miss Rachel? And for how long?

My baby is 5 months old and I’ve been letting her watch hey bear since she was a month old. At first I only allowed 10 mins like once or twice a week or if I just couldn’t settle her for a while. The past month I only let her watch hey bear when I try combing her hair as that’s the only way to keep her still for a few mins. I have noticed tho she’s learned beats and rhythms and she knows when to start kicking her feet to like dance to any music she heard and it’s the cutest thing.

I let my little watch Hey Bear Sensory channel. She jumps up and down in her bouncer when it’s on, but most of the time she is watching either me or my husband

Definitely but, it’s somewhat inevitable since I also have a 2 year old, and me and my fiancée work from home. TBH my oldest attention span doesn’t stay on shows very long, however he sits still for videos of animals and ceiling fans (lol.) My 5 month old laughs at miss Rachel’s voice but is more interested in chewing something as his teeth come in.

doing it the same way I did with my first . they start with ms.Rachel at around 4-6 months for breakfast time so could be anywhere between 5-20 minutes and then we go on about our day . it hasn’t stunted any milestones, it’s done quite the opposite actually . With my oldest she started signing back to me within that first few days (milk , more , eat , etc) and just continued taking it in and learning when / where to use them correctly . she is waaaay ahead of most kids I know her age and i’d like to think that my method had a hand in that . start em early and prepare em

My baby is 5.5 months old, we aren’t doing screens until it seems necessary. I am fortunate that he happily entertains himself in his bouncer or swing if I need to do stuff. And then when we are playing I prefer music and toys.

My babies pedi said he can have up to 2 hours of screen time. I think that’s excessive but sometimes we watch like 5-10 mins of Mickey Mouse. He looses interest pretty quick lol.
