Mortgage question
Hey all! Just looking for some advice from anyone who's gotten a mortgage. I think I'm earning just enough to get a little flat somewhere and have a small deposit I've saved meticulously for! But, does anyone know generally how much solicitor fees+extra fees are roughly? And if they give option to pay them off monthly? I really want to dive in and get a place for my little one and me but scared of extra costs if I run out of money 😅

Congratulations on getting your deposit 👏 solicitor fees vary sometimes based on the solicitor but also on the value of the property. Contact any solicitor and ask them for a quotation. You only need to state the potential value of the property, and they'll list it all out. You do not have to contract them if you don't like it but the figure will give you an idea.
When contracted, they will ask you for a small deposit, e.g, £300 to cover searches, etc. Otherwise, the rest is paid as a lumpsum on completion.
