How do you find time for yourself to do things you want/like to do? I feel like I am always needed, 24/7. I’d love to workout or cook a meal or clean my house but my LO (7 months) gets really upset if we aren’t super close/being held. Somedays I feel touched out and I feel really guilty saying that.

Baby wearing!
Do basic needs for yourself when baby is napping!
Workout while baby is doing floor time!
Bath in a tub shower while baby is doing floor time and being watched by someone else! ( Okay, this only works if there is someone.... Or if you have someone else baby is familiar with)

I feel you on this. My little buddy is 8 months old tomorrow 🥰.... And I finally have a moms night out event I'm going to.... 2 days after he turns 9 months old 🥰

Lmao I don’t

Yea I have to do cleaning at night or when my husband gets home mine is super attached as well

Totally feel you! What has saved me is having two other moms in my area. We meet to go for walks with the babies and just getting outside and talking to other adults/moms who get it is amazing and of course the walking is good exercise. I met one through the peanut app and another through a mom and baby workout class which I also highly recommend if you have those in your area!

And I’ll add that if you don’t have mom friends yet that you could do this with, just going for a walk by yourself with the baby, maybe with some headphones on so you can listen to music or a podcast, might do wonders. I try to get outside for a walk every day even in the cold and it never ceases to make me feel a little bit better

I joined the YMCA . They have childcare that has helped a lot . You can drop your LO off for up to 2 hours . I enjoy every minute
