What was your reading? Mines has been elevated too today and I’m 35 weeks

Absolutely your allowed to eat and snack as much as they want, the normally have the cafeteria open, vending machines etc and also are allowed to take in your own snacks. Hubby was always out getting me something haha

I got enduced with my first born at 7.50pm after dinner and had my bub 5.45 the next day

I was induced at 41 weeks and 1 day my induction started 1/9/24 and I was in active labor around 16hrs didn’t give birth until 1/10/24 at 8:55pm

I was allowed to eat! They said once I get the epidural I can’t but they let me order breakfast since my water broke and I was admitted early am. I’m so glad I ate!

Also they did give me potocin right away so that didn’t seem to affect them letting me eat.

140/94 This was the first time I had a high reading.

How many weeks are you? I have been diagnosed with gestational hypertension since 28 weeks.

Yes they made me go to OB/ED for a pressure just under 140/90. They wanted to induce me that day but I told them I would come back so we are scheduled for tomorrow.

I am now 38 weeks but was 37 when they gave me the diagnosis of gestation hypertension. They said once you are 37 weeks it is recommended to induce.

I was induced and I wasn’t allowed to eat solids once I arrived. I wasn’t really hungry though. Labored for 40 hrs.

Omgggg how did you make it 2 days without solids? I would have been “starving.”

I dunno I guess my body was busy? But they had ramen broth, fruit purée popsicles and something else… maybe yogurts or puddings? I ate a lot of those first two cuz I liked them most.
