What do you class as a fever for 13 month old?
I picked up my little boy from nursery early yesterday as he had a temp (38 after calpol). This morning it’s 37.8 without calpol yet. I’ve googled and 37.8 sounds like it’s high for a child but above 38 is considered a fever.
At what temp can you send your little one to nursery? Im new to all these nursery bugs 🤦🏼♀️

37.5 is the average temp anything over is a mild-high temperature. You can still send them to nursery if they’re well within themselves, I would give calpol to bring it back down. However, I’m sure 90% of majority of nurseries policy, if given at home they can give a dose after the 4 hour period if needed x

They can’t come into nursery with a temperature anything over 37.5 is regarded a temperature. Medicine can’t be given unless it is prescribed to them with their name on it etc. that’s what we do at my nursery anyway. Just wouldn’t want you to take him in and they check and phone you to pick him up. I’m in Scotland though might be different for England x
