Sooooo cute!!!! I hold my little one 24/7 too. It’s perfectly normal and no it doesn’t make them needy. It’s just older people and superstitions

I think it's just older generations justifying the way they parented. They're probably thinking; "I never held my newborn this much, they must be doing this wrong. Couldn't possibly be me that did anything wrong."

To each their own, but I have and never will regret holding my boys all the time. My eldest is 8 and my youngest is in the NICU at 34 weeks. It goes by SO quick. Hold your babe 🩷

Hold your baby as much as you can. πŸ’• There's nothing wrong with getting all the baby loves and snuggles. I will say this though, be careful that they are still getting lots of time to grow and strengthen. I knew this woman who NEVER put her baby down and that little one had a lot of issues with not being able to walk properly for long time. Obviously this is an extreme case and won't happen to you just getting all your baby cuddles 😊

My son will be two next month (where does the time go???) and we did contact naps all day every day the first 3 months while I was on leave. Then I went back to work and had to give it up 😫 but he’s still a very snuggly boy and I wouldn’t give it up for the world

That being said, I didn’t do enough tummy time with him and he ended up needing a doc band helmet to correct his flat head. But it was totally worth it for all those cuddles
