Egg allergy

Yes my boy has both. He gets mucousy poos from egg x

My little boy has both as well, ww paid to go private for an allergy test to confirm everything because nhs wait times were crazy.
He gets hives from egg straight away and after has an upset tummy (growling stomach, crying in pain, v windy).
What symptoms is yours showing x

I’ve tried him with egg on 2 separate occasions and his poops changed to yellow and more frequent, looser consistency (no mucous though) however he cried practically non stop for days also! X

Ahhh bless him, it's so horrid isn't it. Makes you nervous trying anything new when you see them in pain! Whole thing puts you on edge doesnt it. Have you been referred to a paeds allergist? X

he was referred to dietitian when he was 3 weeks old, still heard nothing! But nothing about a paeds allergist, I have an appt next week with health visitor so I’ll have a chat with her! X

The gp got us the paeds allergist referral but I had to pester them like crazy because the wait lists are insane! Weve been on the wait list for almost a year and had our first nhs appt last week, and he has his blood tests in March.
Our dietician referral came through really quickly but I guess that must depend on area?! It's horrid having to fight for it, I don't know about you but it's not something I knew anything about at all before 😅 x

The gp hasn’t mentioned anything about a paeds allergist! It’s strange how much it differs in area! I have a little girl who’s almost 5 and she was the easiest most straight forward child, ate anything lol, I’m finding this time round so difficult! You just don’t expect it do you! X

Yes my boy is. Also soya ( a lot of babies are allergic to soya if they are allergic to milk as it's a very similar protein)
For us it was mucousy poos and blood in the poo. X

@Alicia don't expect it at all! And they put milk and egg in so much delicious stuff it makes life dead hard 😅 x
