I feel really guilty for not organising my son a first birthday party, does anyone have any ideas of things we can do? Or should i just throw him a party 🤷🏼♀️

We’re not doing a party. Honestly don’t see the point in it.
We’re taking our boy to soft play and to a little farm for him to feed some animals (the day after his birthday because his dads working on his birthday 🙁 we’ll probs just have some food and cake on his birthday)

On babies actual birthday we are going to go out to the farm or soft play, maybe have some lunch out too x

We're not having a party, as her bday is on a Monday and I want to do something on the day. We'll probably go to soft play and then have baby friendly cake. I might do some decorations around the house though maybe some balloons that would entertain both baby and the dog 🎈

We’re not doing a party we are just taking my little girl to the zoo x

Were having a little party, booked a sports centre with a bouncy castle. We have a huge family/friends with lots of kids all different ages that want to celebrate with us so this was the best option for us, and we want to celebrate with them too. Will just do some picky food, few balloons etc. But do whatever is best for you and your family, a day out is a popular option to 😊

My baby’s not having a party either, we’ll have a lunch with family to celebrate and we might or might not do something else on the actual day of his birthday, it’ll be dependent on the weather, I’m not planning it yet! Your baby won’t know so do what suits you best 😊

We are going to the sea life centre and having family round to do the cake! 🙈

We’re just doing a day out with just the 3 of us. Will either be the zoo or a farm

My sons birthday is on the 1st of May, we've booked a haven caravan holiday for 4 nights from the 29th of April. There's some pretty cheap caravans up at the moment x

@Megan We are only going to Blackpool since its the most convenient as it's got loads to do surrounding since I don't drive at the min and it only cost me £116 for 4 nights which included haven passes aswell, it's a good time of the year for it since its not peak holiday time so there's loads of cheaper options xx

We aren’t doing a party but also booked a haven caravan for the week before (as my partner could only get that whole week off) and then on his actual birthday we are going to the farm and then for a toby as my boy loves a roast 💙

i took my son to alton towers with just him and my mum, it was a nice day but tbh there wasn’t much he could do. i’d say instead of wasting money on a party which can be a lot of stress, you could put the money towards a nice day out like a sea life center or something xx

Thank you ladies 💗
