Thermometers?
What kind of thermometer do you all use for your almost 2yo? Do you use an ear thermometer, under the arm or a digital forehead one? I keep getting different readings on them 🤷‍♀️ my son had a temp of 38.1 this morning so have kept him off nursery (he has a cough & cold but in good form) but it then came up at 34.5 there about an hour ago ffs!!!

I've recently replaced my under arm one with an in ear one. I got the same one as the child minder as she swears by it and there's no arguments should the readings differ.
38.1 was on the forehead one (both last night & this morning). He’s not long up from a nap, he had a slightly flushed cheek but that’s calmed down so must have been the way he was lying….anyway just measured his temp 3 ways - forehead was 38.1 again, ear one was 35.5 and underarm one settled on 36.0. It’s a total melt! My mummy’s intuition is telling me he doesn’t really have a temp but he’s def not 100% cos he’s off his food & dosed with the cold/cough.
34.5 this morning was the ear one, starting to think it’s faulty or something cos sometimes it says “LO” WTF??
