My LO mainly seems to be interested in sitting up, rather than being on her tummy. She sits really well unsupported and doesn’t really flop over anymore. I’ve gotten pretty bad at remembering to put her on her tummy because it’s just easier to plop her down in a sitting position.
Is tummy time still important at 6+ months?

I think it’s important now to encourage them to crawl. I’ve never done a lot of tummy time, and when he started sitting at 5.5 months it became even more less done. When I put him on his tummy now he will barely tolerate it, just wants to sit up & he has no interest in crawling whatsoever 🥲

Yes definitely to encourage rolling & crawling xx
