Weaning

This might sound silly but do you go off baby’s age in weeks or calander months when it comes to weaning? For example, my baby is 19 weeks which makes him just under 5 months in weeks, but he wouldn’t officially be 5 months until the 14th if that makes sense?

Months. I don’t think you have to overly worried when it comes to weaning though, I imagine a couple of weeks won’t change much. My generation were all given purées at like 4 months..

thank you it’s just confusing because he’s a week off 5 months but yet 3. Weeks until he’s officially 5 months x

Months vary in length so four weeks isn't a month. If you counted every four weeks as a month you'd be in a. Right middle by their birthday!

They say around the 26 weeks for weaning if that helps. But I think they will be one on the date of the month theyre born so go off the date rather than weeks if that makes sense x
