Nutramigen shortage
Has anyone else been told that they cannot get Nutramigen in the UK? I have tried every pharmacy and they all say the manufacturer is not issuing them. We now have to move our baby to Aptamil pepti which seems outrageous. Are there any other alternatives before amino acid formulas? Is there anywhere I can get Nutramigen?

We tried Alimentum which is the ready made formula and it seemed to go nicely until we found more nutramigen !
I'm sure aptamil pepti 1 is hydrolysed? Also sma althera is hydrolysed also
Yep I had a GP and a pharmacy calling around all the pharmacies in west London and couldn’t get any. My LO has been prescribed SMA althera because aptamil pepti didn’t agree with her. I did buy some nurramigen online but it was £15 for a small tin!
Yes we had this issue a few weeks ago. I bought it online from chemist-4-u. Like above, not cheap, but did it for a few tins until our pharmacy could get it back in stock.
My Drs had to order in from another pharmacy as there normal one didn’t have stock, but I have just been given 6 more tubs. Maybe I got lucky based on location.
We had this issue I rang the pharmacy yesterday apparently it's all back in stock im picking up 14 tins today
Also pepti is the same as nutramigen it's not an amino based one. And depending on how old baby is you can move to nutramigen 2 if they're over 6 months as that's been back in stock for a while.

Iam still having same problem chemist said it’s saying in stock but it hasn’t come in any of there delivery’s xxx
try different chemists xx
I had this same issue too but then after a couple of days my chemist rang to say it randomly arrived! Apparently they can track it and it was just delayed somewhere up north xx
