Who uses the tv to get things done?

I started off pretty strict with tv but as my bub is becoming a toddler, I’m falling back on tv more and more to get washing done, cooking, etc. Any other solo Mamas do it? I feel so awful!

Yes, I do it more than I would like but it’s become such a help to me 😔

I don't think it has anything to do with being single. I think most parents do it more than they would like. It's better that they have some entertainment while you're doing things you need to get done, rather than crying/ having a tantrum/ being bored. I have a 14 week old and have to do it sometimes even though he's still tiny- I just pick age appropriate/ educational things or old Disney classics and make sure it's only for a few minutes at a time. Soon enough you'll be unable to escape it anyway... they'll be using screens at school, playing console games, watching TV and eventually having their own phones. That's the world we live in (unless you live off grid in a commune or something!).
