The lakes as in Lake District? Im assuming so, because that’s what we call it - yes I have. Look at Windermere / patterdale and all round there, I haven’t explored much further than there because it’s a mission from where we actually live but we plan to explore more as time goes on.
Me and my partner go camping up sykeside camp site right next to brothers water, minutes away from Windermere.
There’s a caravan park just up the road, but I’m unsure of the name sorry! It’s a bit like a centre parcs but don’t think it is is one. I know they have horse riding there though.
it’s our dream place to live. Next on our list is Glencoe, Scotland!
We took our daniff , staff cross & 7 month old baby camping for 4 nights 🤍 (and I was pregnant but didn’t know)

Yes the lake district thank you for your response

I can’t fit the photos in properly but here’s a couple from a few of our trips up to sykeside.
Our last trip up there we drove to Edinburgh as well, it was 3 hours or just over I can’t quite remember but I feel like it was about 3.5 hours!

We go to Keswick at least once a year. We stay at a place called Lingholm estate with family and it’s a great base but quite pricey

Yess
We just got back from conniston and it was lovely xxxx

Yes we went to the Lake District for the first time in October, was lovely! Baby was 5 months.

We’re pregnant with our first and try to go at least once every 1-2 years for a week away. We’ve just booked to go again when bub is 2 months old - send help lol!! It’s so beautiful, you will make it work 🫶🏻

I live in the lakes, there’s so many things to do with the baby and loads of buggy friendly walks, a favourite is elterwater with a stop at Chester’s on the river cafe - https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/things-to-do/walking/mileswithoutstiles
I live near staveley which is a very short drive from Windermere but it’s such a great spot to get slightly cheaper accommodation if that’s helpful. There’s a brand new park, gelato shop, pub, brewery and bakery and lots of walks.

Thanks so much do you happen to know if most cottages/ accommodation will do travel cots and high chairs

I would imagine they will do as it’s so family oriented but definitely double check over email.
