Sure start maternity grant question
To anyone who applied for the Sure Start Maternity Grant, do they send your MAT B1 back to you when they made the decision? I gave work my MATB1 when I first got it in December then learned about the grant and asked if I could have it back to apply for the grant because it said it had to be the original, no photocopies. They said yes and gave it to me, now they said they need it back before I go on maternity leave. I’m getting paranoid I won’t get my form back and won’t know what to do.

Update, got my decision letter in the mail today, they did not send my MAT B1 back to me
ummm mine was in a extra envelope i got my matb1 first and then my decision came after it might come back xx

hiya how long after ur mat b 1 form was sent back did u get ur decision letter and money Hun x
i got my mat b1 like 28 days after sending it and my decision letter in the post with it aswell, and then 5 days later i got the money, but it took like 2 months for them to make a decision coz i didn’t send the right information and they sent it back to me 2x xx
I have just received a text to say they have my forms it’s been 27 days does that mean I have to wait another 28!days from now
i’d say a week if that x
