Nasal Congestion

My LO has a really bad cold. We have tried a snot sucker, steam showers, nasal spray, and nothing seems to be working. Any other suggestions?

Sometimes it just takes time for their immune system to get over it. Sounds like you’re doing all of the right things. I also use Baby vicks and a humidifier

Try Nasal rinse. Pediatricians recommend it and it has worked great with my baby. I use Sinusrinse by NeilMed.

I used saline solution with the nasal aspirator. Sometimes, it just takes time. If the mucus is yellow or green you can take them to the Dr. They may have a sinus infection. But sounds like you are doing all the right things. 🫶

Yea my toddler has very bad cough but tested negative for the flu Covid etc and they listened to his lungs and said it doesn’t sound like pneumonia. They suggested humidifier also I requested a nebulizer with saline solution and she prescribed it cause cough medicine doesn’t work. I feel bad when he coughs at night it sounds like it hurts. I think I have to get thicker curtains to cover the windows so cold air doesn’t seep in because turning the heat up so to balance it with the cold air just created more cough and mucus

Try cupping: congestion relief massage, that helped loose the mucus from chest.

The calpol plug in is great for us (I have one in my room too because I have congestion too). Also use klearvol essential oils on a muslin and tie it to her cot bars and that helps her.

Buy saline from Amazon and two syringes
Flush their nostrils
