Nappy rash

I’ve been having this with my baby too. Health visitor came today and said just go to the GP for special cream and try a different brand nappy! Also if they’re weaning be aware it could be certain foods they’re eating that’s irritating them

I feel like the worse mum 😪

It’s not necessarily your fault as long as you keep slathering the cream on and changing nappy regularly. Just go to the GP if it doesn’t show signs of healing

While you get to the GP maybe try also plenty of air time for the bum, that together with the metanium cream helped us

Keep the nappy off for as long as you can to get lots of air time. Bless her 💔

So hard to see them in pain - we were advised a plain water bath every night, no products, then air dry as much as poss afterwards before cream and nappy.

thank you so much I will try this she does have a bath every night but we use this liquid stuff to help with her eczema im hoping it will clear up I feel so awful xx

Don’t feel awful - my LO had an awful rash on and off for most of December (along with a nasty tummy bug) and it cleared up and your LOs will too x

It might be thrush my Lg had what we thought was bad nappy rash and used all the creams and wasn’t untill doctor gave us canesten cream it’s cleared up in 2 days.

probably need an antibiotic cream, we had this last month and was prescribed daktarin which you can buy at the chemist

Hi all she was at the doctors yesterday and they’ve given her some cream so fingers crossed this’ll help get rid of it x
