Anyone else notice their cats have become clingy?
My female cat has become really clingy the last few weeks. Usually very timid and shy. Not allowed out of her sight, even going to the loo! Male cat always makes sure he’s at my feet when we go to bed and comes back up for snuggles after breakfast.

My male cat was, I'm sure, the first one who knew I was pregnant.
When I was pregnant last time, he was sleeping by my belly.
This time, right at the beginning of the pregnancy he came and led on my belly (something he usually doesn't do).
And since then, most nights he sleeps against my belly 🥰
My famale cat hasn’t left my side 🤣 even kneading the bump, it so sweet
Absolutely, and mine can't retract her claws so she's driving me insane🤣🤣
Awww love this post! We have two male cats, very different personalities. One is a lap cat and the other gets quite territorial and can hiss a lot at us. Intrigued to see how they both are when baby is here. Don’t have any friends with cats so no point of reference on how they responded to a new born!
Animals can smell the hcg hormone that we produce when pregnant, my boyfriends dog wouldn’t leave me alone, follow me to the toilet, sleep in my bed, even when I went to work he wouldn’t move from the front door till I got back. If anyone came near me he would growl. He hated me when I gave birth but wouldn’t let anyone near my baby, would walk along the pram and now they play in the garden together
