I feel so fat and disgusting!! Before I had my daughter I was a size 12/14 and weighed 12 stone I’m now 16 stone and getting fatter and fatter… wear a size 18. I am absolutely devastated, depressed and feel like I won’t ever be weigh 12 stone again… my ideal weight is actually 11 stone 🫣😢 I can’t stick to a diet Iv tried EVERYTHING… I honestly don’t know what else I can do!!! I look at a piece of cake and put on 3 pounds FFS. Does anyone have any tips?

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I been constantly on and off diet before to become pregnant, I tried few that actually helped me. One is deficit caloric, you can start slow about 1.500 a day and then reduce it if you like, the other one is fasting. Some apps may help you to stay focus. Just remember is a long process so you need to stick to it, even if you don’t see straight away results you must keep going. Remember that everything start in your head, the body will adjust. The only thing that has ever worked for me is eating a TON of protein and doing HIIT and weights. I’m now 4 weeks postpartum and very excited to get back into fitness.
My number one piece of advice would be to aim for 100+ grams of protein per day. I don’t track calories as I find it too tedious. It’s easier to focus on protein and minimizing highly processed foods.
Diet is 80% - but I feel you. It’s hard.
I gained 70 pounds while pregnant- I googled and that’s 7 stone lol 🫠
Since having the baby I’ve lost 2.5 stoned (35 pounds) but still have 4.5 stone to lose

I find diets absolutely awful for my mental health, so I eat what I want but try and make as much of it as possible home cooked food high in protein. Stopping when I’m full is also something I’ve been trying to work on. Find a form of exercise that you love and stick to it (I love pole, boxing and weights)

The only diet I could stick to as a food lover is intermittent fasting, that way I didn’t have to cut out everything I liked eating. I would fast between 8pm and 12 the next day so 16 hours. Most of it is spent sleeping anyway and I would have a herbal tea or black coffee to hold me in the morning. The first week is always the hardest and then your body gets used to it and I was never interested in breakfast again after that. Let me know if you want more info on it x

Try calories counting hun that what I am doing now and I still eat what I want but I track everything I eat and stay within calroies but eating a good amount of protien also trying fasting to has I am doing that aswell has counting my calories you can message me if you need more advise x

Calorie counting worked for mr so i had 1500 a day i followed weight watchers and still could have some foods. I do you tube exercise workouts and do walks a few times a week. Be kind to urself

Honestly i feel the same, i was a size 8/10 and now im a 14/16 and its so heartbreaking seeing all my old pictures and outfits.
