My daughter has Covid, any advice from moms who have had little ones that have had it themselves? I’m devastated

We all had it. It was no big deal. She had fever and gross cough for like two days then she was fine like nothing happened. My husband and I were dying for a week
Tho. Just manage the fever and monitor their breathing and it’ll go by quick.

Do what you would for any type of cold. I like to give my little one herbal baths. Keep an eye on symptoms like fever, other than that it will pass.

My girls had it at 6 weeks and I had it when I was pregnant with them. Just treat their symptoms and push fluids

Maty’s chest rub is great for a cough too.

I had a headache that felt like my head was splitting.
My baby who was 4 months ended up in hospital as his oxygen would go from 100 to 70-73 and back up constantly.

My baby had it at 6months. He was tired and warm for a few days. Did lots of skin to skin, breast milk, wet wash cloths, and natural vitamins.

my baby had it at four months! lots of fluids and sweating it out helped! alternate tylenol and ibuprofen every 4-6 hours

Yes! It is a tough one and you will get through it. There’s nothing you can do besides making sure the baby gets enough fluids and keep an eye on the fever. Give Tylenol and Motrin and switch it up in 6 hour windows

As long as baby is over one they can have honey!! if you take an orange and squeeze it and warm in the microwave along with a little bit of honey mix it together and use a syringe for like baby medicine. It is a great way to help coughs and coating the throat along with boosting their immune system during these sick months I even give it to my kids once a day!! Good luck I know sick babies is so rough!!

My son had covid when he was 9 months old. Then we all had it. He had about 103 fever for one time and fever came back several times over two days. We gave tylenol. Then he had congestion and cough for couple more days. He lost some weight since he dint eat much but he had at least 24 oz of milk which is what doctor recommended. Just make sure the fluid intake is appropriate and you will get over it in a few days.

Babies are so resilient. This will only make you stronger as a mama. My baby had it as a newborn and he was ok. So much of it is the fear that comes with it. You and your baby will be ok. 💓

Treat the symptoms and push hydration. Lower the bar on expectations of food intake. It should pass after a few days.

You will all get through this. Stay strong and let your little one cuddle with you. It was so hard for us, but the days passed and he got better. A scary time, not remember it will pass.

But remember*
