Sick family member

Following. My husband currently has a cold and my little guy is 17 days old. My husband has still been around our son and our son doesn’t have any symptoms. Still makes me worried though….

@Brittany I know they will get sick eventually but she's still to little and new 😭 and im a single mom as well so I don't have that support from a partner to help with baby

Everyone in my household got sick, like very very sick. I have a 9 year old daughter and she started first, than my siblings, than my mom, and it got to my baby at 6 weeks old, he got a horrible cough, fever, and kept puking up the formula 😭 It was a terrible time, unfortunately there is no medication for them to take 💔 We used a Humidifier w/Vicks, and a frida nose nasal, and Dr prescribed Tylenol incase he had headaches. Just prepare for lots of cuddles and no sleep 😴 😪

@Elizabeth my mom reassured me that even newborns do get sick sometimes and that it isn't going to be detrimental if she did get her sick, but I'm so protective and have so much anxiety with my LO I'm convinced if she gets sick shes gonna freaking die or something terrible 🙃😭

It's a horrible feeling seeing them sick, now im sick and Dad is sick. We are wearing facemasks, to not cough, sneeze, or breathe on him since he is barely getting better. Dr did say they do take longer to get better since there is nothing for them to take 😪 Soo sad. But we have to be strong for them. You have no idea how many times I cried during those moments 😭

Humidifier with Vicks, let them sit in the bathroom while the shower goes so the steam gets stuff loose, the nose Frida or similar to get mucus out, and temperature checks. If baby gets a temperature or seems to be struggling to breathe talk to ur doctor.
