Staying in shape postpartum

Anyone have tips for getting back into shape after baby? I lost so much weight from breastfeeding but now that I’m not I feel like a balloon. But I also feel like I never know when I can work out with having baby all day. I’m sure there’s other moms that have figured it out, so I’m hoping for any advice on exercises or resources

My baby hates being put down, but we are managing to do about 4 mile walks every day. Helps me get some exercise and he also gets fresh air. Other than that I’m calorie and macro tracking. I also bought weights to use once my baby is done needing to be held 24/7

When baby is 2or 3 months old I will go back to my gym with a daycare. I can’t workout at home between dogs and kids. Not to mention I start to workout and then I see dishes and laundry and all the things I should be doing instead so it just stresses me out more. So I love my daycare gym!

As soon as I feed him and he goes down for a good nap I workout. I have a peloton treadmill but have also been doing their postpartum content (yoga, strength, etc.). Once it’s nice out I can’t wait to take him for walks 😍

As soon as I put the baby down for a nap, I go on the elliptical while my 3.5 year old and 22 month old ride their bikes and scooters in the garage with me. I've also started doing hot yoga/pilates. Next thing I need to do is start doing exercises for my diastasis recti.
