Constantly unwell
Is anyone else’s little one constantly unwell? He only goes to nursery 1 day a week but since November we’ve had 2 bouts of tonsillitis, 3 sickness bugs, several colds and coughs, and what seems to be a new fever every 5-7 days. He’s currently got another fever and not drinking much so I think it could be tonsillitis again.
Is this normal winter bugs or could there be something else going on here? Due to see GP again today

Same. I feel like my daughter is never not unwell, pretty much since November. She’s been to the doctors multiple times, regularly getting fevers, colds and coughs, runny nose, sore throat etc. It’s never ending!
Oh my days, yess!! She gets really spotty on her face and a super sore nose when she's poorly, so as soon as I think she's getting better, it comes right back 🥴
I feel the same, since November my daughter has been coming home with a new illness each week, with that means that I am also unwell. I’ve never had a chest infection and had 2 since she’s been to Nursery! I would say roll on Summer but then we both suffer with Hayfever! 😢

Sammmmeeeee. Currently battling a ear and throat infection, after a tummy bug. They've also delayed her jabs due to her current infection, which means once we're over this we'll then have a week of illness / grouchyness from that. I am Exhausted 🙃🙃🫠🫠🫠
sending love! We had jabs 3 weeks ago and the side effects of that lasted 2 weeks (I think, or it could’ve been another viral infection!) now 5 days on we have another illness. It’s just torture!! X
my LG has had her jabs postponed twice now, due them again tomorrow, but she’s got a temperature again so I’m not holding out any hope!
Same my LB has been on and off poorly.for 7 months, ear infectionsx2, norovirus, RSV bronchiolitis X2, constant cough(referred to hospital for investigation into asthma)
And add the constant grumpiness into that
This sounds like normal nursery/winter bugs unfortunately but it’s so tough! My daughter goes to nursery 2 days a week and is very similar, I can’t wait for spring!
My LB has had a cold since November so much snot it’s unreal! Also attends nursery 1 day a week! Teething a good un though so think it’s all linked x
Thanks everyone, really reassuring! But sorry to hear all your little ones have also been poorly 😢 it’s a double ear infection & swollen throat for my little boy this time round! X
