I'm so with you! I was the first in my friend group and still the only one to have children and they don't understand that I can only do things with my children during the day and one of my old friends asked my why I made being a mum my personality... its really difficult! I'm always here if you wanna chat xx

Second that! Not to mention always having to leave the function early because of baby’s schedule. Even when my friends are nice about it the FOMO is real. It’s hard to talk about anything other than parenting and I know my childfree friends don’t care or understand.

*to clarify, everyone is always nice and patient about everything we’re so lucky, but the isolation is so REAL!

I lost all my friends apart from 1 when I had my first child. I still only have that 1 friend and I'm so grateful but she lives 3 hours away so yea it's super isolating
