Splinter 🥺

My 1 year old has a splinter and I cannot get it , I’ve tried getting it out of his foot when he’s sleep, awake, distracted. But I just can’t seem to get it. I thought I got it out a couple days ago but it’s still red and the skin is raised and forming around it . It doesn’t seem to be bothering him. Any suggestions?
