My 4 month old has suspected CMPA according to GP, but according to feeding consultant and HV his symptoms don’t fit.
So, what did your LOs have that led to diagnosis?

Bloody stool, mucus in stool - switched to goats milk formula and he vomited and became severely dehydrated. Gas, reflux, stomach pain.

My baby girls stomach would bloat and get really big and hard, she was gassy, screamed when she farted or pooped, mucus in her poop and spit up a lot. Soy milk formula made her constipated, her poop was like rocks and always left blood in her stool. My niece went thru it too 7 years ago, so that's how I knew to get her the amino acid based formula.

My daughter was never diagnosed because the doctor just said don’t eat or drink diary for a month and see what happens. But the only symptom she had was literally screaming all day constantly. And when I stopped giving cows milk formula and me stop eating dairy for breastfeeding she stopped and now she’s super calm

did goat milk do that or is goat milk good for her

did the goats milk help? We are on dairy free but was told goats milk will work too

we do goat milk. But I don’t think my daughter is fully allergic I think she has a sensitivity

Reflux, colic, constipation, eczema, poor weight gain and trapped gas.

Congestion, wheezing, cough, reflux, colic, stomach pain, wind, gut dysmotility, straining to poo, explosive poos, mucus in poos, blood in poo, rash, eczema.
We've only just got a suspected diagnosis at 6 months and we're now in the elimination stage.
The thing that lead to his diagnosis was starting weaning and giving him cow's milk as part of that - symptoms flared severely so it was pretty obvious he'd reacted to it.

was the explosive poo like a shart? That’s what my baby had and what lead me to the dr for testing

we were told our daughter is allergic to dairy but then they suggested to use goat milk due to the different proteins in cow vs goat. However I have been afraid to try it

no, for us it was full nappy blow outs every poo, down the legs, up the back, every where every time. Although he did shart as well.

I don’t know if you saw my response, but if it’s a true protein allergy, goats milk won’t help. It was actually worse for us. We almost had to take our son to the hospital.

goats milk was horrible. Worse than the cows milk formula
