The pediatrician told me that it’s completely normal for them to get the hiccups a lot when they’re this young. Keep in mind I didn’t even mention the hiccups it was just in her list of things to expect so I’m not sure there’s a whole lot to do besides wait for them to pass. My MawMaw says getting the hiccups means you’re growing so maybe that’s why they get them so often lmao

my baby also had a lot of hiccups in my belly as well as throughout the newborn phase

My baby also gets the hiccups after eating but if a feed her just a little more then they go away

Following

Giving her a little more milk helps for me, they instantly goes away she just doesn’t like to accept anything when she have the hiccups so that be the problem

My baby does too

Our baby hiccups several times a day - typically after a feed. Doc said it was normal as their diaphragm hasn't fully developed, etc. Our baby hiccuped in the belly as well.

Getting baby to swallow or putting them to sleep helps with my little one

My baby gets hiccups after feeding too! Its normal its nothing major to worry bout momma!!

Gripe water is like magic when it comes to my boy and hiccups. He will stop hiccuping immediately after I administer it

I just hold my daughter upright untill they pass to keep her comfortable. But sometimes latching her for a min will make them go away.
