Drinking water

Same! She has learnt to use a straw cup pretty easily but still rarely has any water.
I mentioned it to health visitor and she said it’s a common problem and just to try and offer food with a sauce and cucumber/tomato and fruit where you can which is already what I do.
Sorry don’t have an answer but you are not alone with the issue! Also want to be here if anyone has any other ideas!

Mine was the same. I mixed some sugar free squash with his water which he liked and got him interested in drinking. Once he was in the habit of drinking it I just gradually reduced the amount and made it weaker until it was just water… he now drinks water fine and has quite a lot per day! No idea if it’s the best way but worked really well for us

Mine prefers to take sips out of my glass

Mine likes to drink it out of a mug , have to hold it with him , but he lets me know when he’s ready for more and brings it to his mouth… also only other way is in his milk bottle , I just leave it on the floor with him while he’s playing and he’s will just grab it and feed it to himself when he wants to 🤷‍♀️ tried all the tippy cups and strawed cups with no hope , he either throws them or just chews on the straw
