Neighbor called my landlord bc of weed

The cops won’t do anything. Just make sure you keep the house clean, food in the fridge/pantry and make it obvious that weed has no impact on your ability to care for kids. As long as they see that they don’t care

Don't smoke weed inside the house because it affects the children, but keep smoking in the balcony or something

we 100% only smoke outside bc of the kids but that’s the problem and why the neighbor is smelling it

Oh it's the neighbor who is bothered by it , frankly I understand him , when I was pregnant my neighbors smoked and it bothered me sooo much to the point where I was throwing up , in this case I recommend finding a spot near the house where you can smoke without affecting him

Honestly-you don’t owe them anything and can just keep doing what you’re doing. But if you wanted to be a little more courteous, you could try to be away from their door, get a fan or an order absorbing thing

Nothing. The other guy will eventually get in trouble for calling and wasting their time.
The smell of weed ain’t even illegal / cause for police to act anymore in most states anyway to top it off :)

You don't need to do anything really. If the neighbor mentions you have kids they will likely come out with the intention of confirming the children cannot reach/access your pot/bongs/etc., your kids have food and clean clothes/are well cared for, as well as that you aren't smoking indoors or around the kids. As long as you have your medical cards, like you stated you do, they can't and won't do anything. 🙂 If he keeps making nuisance calls he'll get in trouble long before you will
