I’ve had to reset the way I look at things because it can be emotionally draining.
If it’s not a priority, safety or health related, then I feel I don’t need to worry so much. It’s hard though because I want things a certain way but I’ve had to tell myself that whatever it is can be done later or by someone else.
It’s a process to say the least.

I got a cleaner and i clean anyway. I mean, i clean before my cleaner comes, so i dont know if im doing ok 🤣 doesnt help that my 21m old is loving clutter

I’m struggling and it got so much worse after pregnancy! I’ve started waking up early before anyone else to sit silently with a tea or coffee and loosely plan over my day with a todo list. I found out that it gets more and more overwhelming and I get more burnt out when I try to just “go with the flow” 😂 that makes me run around like a chicken with its head cut off. Order and knowing that I am at least accomplishing *something* gives me peace of mind and ticking a few boxes on my small todo list throughout the day makes me more open to just sitting and enjoying my family majority of the time! A day that is balanced is far less exhausting to me!

I’ve tried doing that a couple times but end up going back to sleep lol my son wakes up between 6:30-7 everyday and something about being awake before the sun just don’t sit right with me lol I’ve been trying to make to do lists more for the validation and it helps a little bit. I don’t struggle with contamination obsessions too much so cleaning isn’t the issue for me it’s just everyday stress that I’m struggling with. I had my ocd managed until my third trimester n then after I had him it got a lot worse. I’ve been thinking about starting exposure therapy.
