Attitude

I am really struggling with a complete attitude change from my son the past 2 weeks. We sent his dummy’s away to the fairy roughly 3 weeks ago . We had a really good 4 days where he knew it had gone and couldn’t get it back but took a long time to go to sleep without it which we expected. For the past two weeks he is like a different child he will just scream and scream at us (mainly me) about anything and will go on for ages , if he’s not screaming/ shouting he can be lovely but it’s like a switch gets flipped. I don’t know what to do to help him anymore . He constantly runs away if we are out. He is a complete different child. He now screams for 45-60 mins every nap time about going for the nap but needs the nap to make it through the day. And bed time he is no better either.

Just needed to rant to someone / see if anyone has any tips or going through this also.

My little girl is definitely in the phase of dropping her nap. If she does nap, it takes her hours to fall asleep at night and often isn't asleep until 11pm, which I hate. Thankfully, she's happy enough in her cot but I feel that is only because the sides are still up. She has only napped once this week, probably because she is ill. Again, thankfully she just plays in her cot. I still do her naptime routine and she seems sleepy but as soon as I leave she sits up and plays. Definitely having outbursts from tiredness but she falls asleep SO well at bedtime when she hasn't napped and sleeps straight through... She also has uncontrollable out it's where she ends up just sobbing. We had one today because water play was getting out of hand so I had to call it a day. Nothing would calm her until I just put the telly on 🤦🏼‍♀️
