Congrats on # 2!
My fiancé brought it up twice very quietly but my chest sinks a little when I think about it

Not ready at all. I could see maybe considering it in 2-3 years. But I might be one and done.

You think your ready till you actually do it

Looking to start trying this fall. Hubby has 2 kiddos that are 10 and 13 so we want to give our daughter a sibling close to her in age too

My February baby is actually my second. My oldest will be 3 in April. They are 22 months a part. At times I feel like it's a good age gap but when I was pregnant, it was challenging at times as I got bigger and my daughter wanted to be held or i was tired. It definitely helps to have a supportive partner! My husband did a lot for me while pregnant. Right now with my kids, my daughter is old enough to help out but they are also still close in age to play together!

We've talked about having a third but maybe in a few months. We'll see!

So I’ve actually been going in and out wanting another one since my son was like six months old lol but my husband still is not ready yet. We are going to have the second one after I finish my masters at some point so like we will start trying in like 2 to 4 years because i have 2 years left and do not want to juggle 2 kids and a masters🤣

I saw the comment of your husband brining it up my s/o has brought it up a few times recently too and I’m just like ahhh😅 I don’t think I could have a second right now haha I wanna be able to enjoy my sons toddler stage he’s becoming his own little person right now and if I had two or was pregnant right now I don’t feel I could give him all my attention. Maybe when he’s 2 or 3 I would consider

Thank you all, I definitely want more. I think it would be amazing. I wouldn’t mind the pregnancy itself. I wouldn’t mind going through the labor. My biggest hesitation is the attention to our son, I don’t want him to feel like there isn’t enough to go around. I will say my partner is a “rare breed”. He is the most hands on and helpful, and I know that he would do everything to help. I just that is my only hesitation. Developmentally I want my son to feel like I am also there. I get a little sad when I think of adding another right this moment

@icognito siblings can get jealous at times but it helps to include them in everything even the pregnancy! That's what we did with my daughter. When I gave birth, I could tell she was confused (she was young) and nervous to touch me since its two of them and two of us, it's easier to make time for both of them!

Mama of twins here so idk what it’s like to have just one baby. But I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s freaking hard work taking care of two (especially at the same age) but seeing them interact, laugh, play together, and be best friends, even this young, is the absolute best. They just turned one and I can’t imagine how life would be with just one of them. They absolutely adore each other and having a second baby means they have someone to play with. It’s honestly my favorite benefit of having twins. It allows me to have some small breaks throughout the day where they entertain each other.

I have 4 years between me and my sibling closest in age. I hated that gap. I always wanted a sibling closer in age. Mentally and emotionally I’m not ready for babies number 3 (and possibly #4 with the statistics of fraternal twins) yet, but I definitely want all my babies closer in age. Perhaps 2-2.5 years apart.
