First time mums

Bit of a rant sorry!

Sorry I have a little bit of a rant as I’m feeling angry, upset, shocked and just annoyed really!
I’ve been with my partner for 4 years now and we welcomed our first child 6 months ago and are very happy together!
We are both in our 20s- I’m white English and my boyfriend is Sri Lankan. I have tried so hard to be kind and close with his family and have been nothing but nice and loving and I have not received any respect back.
Our son is white and they do not like it! They hate that I am white and have repeatedly told my partner he should be with a nice Sri Lankan girl to marry and have children with even tho he has repeatedly said no and he is happy with me and our son and would never do that.
I’m sorry but this is flat out RASICM !!
They refer to me as ‘the white girl’ and don’t treat me with any respect, they look at me like I am scum!
Now I brushed it off and didn’t care much as my boyfriend has practically cut them off as he hates how disrespectful they are. But recently we were at his sisters wedding (who I am very close with) and they completely ignored my existence.
Here’s where I get angry. My partner tried (bless him) to introduce our son to his family and they REFUSED to touch him or meet him or go anywhere near him, saying they didn’t want to touch a white child and didn’t even want to look at him!
My poor baby has to grow up knowing his family hate him because of his skin colour ?
I just cannot believe how racist they are to us, it breaks my heart for our son.
