This doesn’t make any sense to me at all
So I had my my ob appointment on Monday and didn’t think anything of it my ob told me that my blood pressure was high and so she wanted me to get admitted to the hospital so I did that Monday night they told me I was going to have a c-section so I ended up having that Tuesday morning my baby girl arrived at 6:01am. Very exciting.🥹🩷she’s also very healthy. I was told to stay in the hospital since Monday till now but the horrible thing happened today. Me and my bf was having a nice day today then later on a social worker came asked us questions then out of nowhere they decided to open a case with dcfs even tho we didn’t do ANYTHING wrong. They said that we were both on our phones EVEN tho we WEREN’T ON OUR PHONES we were talking with the worker and paying attention to our baby girl and the social worker was like there’s a blanket over her face even tho she just saw it happen. She complained about it and now there’s an open case with us. Idk it just doesnt make any sense we didn’t do anything wrong we feed our baby girl we change her we do everything we’re supposed to be doing.Also the social worker said in the case that I wasn’t paying attention to our baby girl and that I get frustrated. I’m like wait what I’m not getting frustrated I’m doing everything right. Idk what to do about this so if anyone has any answers be free to comment. I don’t want to seem like a bad person for posting this but I wanted other peoples opinions

Are they basically accusing you of negligence to ur daughter? You should ask the hospital why cps was notified/called
Something or someone had to contact them for them to get involved especially after an emergency c section
we’ve asked but no one is saying why they called they said since were first time parents that we need help or to take classes but we’re going to have help we got my bfs family and mine so idk why they think we’re not going to have help and idk why they have to open up a case they have no reason too
So a visit from a social worker is a perfectly normal part of post partum care. The social worker reporting you with false claims is the really weird part.... whatever you do, do NOT agree to let them take your child while they investigate. Cooperate as much as possible, but DO NOT allow them to take possession of your child.
This is terrible I didn’t even know that was a thing. I hope it gets resolved I’m so sorry that’s happening to you
