Sit close to tv
Does your toddler sit super close to the tv ? I know it’s not healthy so I redirect him but I’m just asking for other purposes .

No she doesn't
I don’t allow it. If he’s doing it then I will bring out a toddler chair for him or give him a blanket for the couch. It’s pretty rare though to be fair, he knows better.
Mine tries to! He’ll stand inches from it and I have to move him.
mine tries to. i had to put the tv up high so she wouldn’t walk up to it
I do put marks under the “strikes” to reinforce that hands stay off the tv and we sit/dance away from the tv (but not in a “you were bad” way). I just say “uh oh! TV likes it when we watch from back here! I’m gonna have to put a mark under the strikes because touching the tv could break it and you could get hurt.” I told her she gets 10 strikes because she can count to 10; but they’re really meaningless to me and she’ll get the shirt regardless. She got two “strikes” and hasn’t touched the tv since.
