Feeling left out at baby classes?

I don’t actually go so maybe I shouldn’t comment but a lot of my friends do. I go to playgroup in churches and they are so super friendly no cliques. Good range of people with all different age kids that go from when they are 0 to school age. Could you maybe give them a go? A lot of my friends have said exactly what you have said about baby classes and say they feel like they aren’t getting much out of them.

phew I thought it was just me. I’m not expecting a best friend forever but some small talk might be nice so it doesn’t feel so uncomfortable 😣 If I’m singing Old McDonald on repeat and signing a cow like a mad woman I want to know we are in this together 😂

Yeah I have this as well. I just keep reminding myself I’m there for her not for me but it’s quite disheartening sometimes!

Hmm its interesting coz I think I'm one of those mums who doesnt speak ... but its not because I think I'm a princess .... my brain is just completely mush from exhaustion and I can barely muster up enough energy to keep alert 🙇‍♀️

I know exactly what you mean. Seems a lot of the time these groups the mums already have there little clickey groups. X

I have found that baby groups are used a lot by NCT groups of ladies to have a regular meet up.
