Baby's Immune System
My baby is currently sick, my husband has the stomach bug and she caught it. My mom commented that she thought it very strange that she would get sick being so little (she just turned 4 months today).
Now, I thought babies are at higher risk of getting sick? I'm so confused lol. She says their immune system is strong, but they aren't immune to anything yet. Which I don't get how you can have a strong immune system without being immune to anything. I'm def not an expert, and I know you guys aren't either. Just wondering other thoughts on this because Google isn't helping 😂

Im so sorry that your LO is sick! You are correct, Babies have no immune system except what they get from mom. It is not very strong at all. That's why they need vaccines and get sick very easily.
