Every single neighbour around us have security cameras, I’m not sure how theirs work exactly but my friend who lives up the road has cameras that connect to her phone so she gets notified every time there’s some movement out the front and she can watch what’s going on from her phone. I’m assuming they’re all like that? Why does it make me so anxious. I feel like I can’t even take the rubbish out without the whole street watching me it’s crazy! Does anyone else feel this way? I understand why they have them and I have definitely considered getting them too but do I need them if everyone else has them? It would be a bit pointless wouldn’t it? 😂

hey! We have a security camera that works the same way. It watches only our front yard. We’re only alerted if someone (or something) enters our property. We’re certainly not watching our neighbours comings and going’s!

I have cameras at my house, I had them installed because I have PTSD. They alert me on my phone when someone breaches my property line and it comes up with an intrusion detection or line detection.
I have them at various points on my house and shed, there are absolutely no blind spots whatsoever and I cannot and do not want to see my neighbors comings and goings. I’m sure most cameras are set up similarly.
