Joint pain?

Hi-is anyone experiencing any odd joint pain? I’m 48-I thought maybe I had arthritis in thumbs. Doc says everything looks fine. They get stiff and hurt. Same thing happens with my left knee and sometimes my big toes (random). I’m wondering if this is a symptom of perimenopause?

Hi Jill, im same age as you and have hip joint pain and also back pain. It is part of perimenopause. I've been told tumeric is a good supplement to take

Yes all the time

Where do I begin! Ugh I'm turning 46 in a couple of months and obverse the last year or so. Knees, wrists, hip sockets, fingers, back lol all feel achey at one time or another. I have heard menopause does cause joint issues among the hundreds of other fun things it cause.

Hello 🙂 Yep, joint pain is common in peri/menopause, and our M-brace The Change Symptom Handbook should provide useful information on this and other 'not so well-known' symptoms... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PqxjlfdrINzcNDNJ-FtOuvvSa1lSYqm_/view?usp=drivesdk 🙂❤️

@Sharon thank you!!

Yes my hands thumbs forearms and left elbow has been horrid!! Stomach too

My knee being in perimenopause sucks 🙀

Ever since I started juicing (and cut out all processed snacks and 98% processed food. I still like pizza and a good charcuterie board from time to time) I have noticed a difference in my joint pain and I also have RA on top of the night sweats,etc. Every week I juice turmeric, ginger, beets and cucumbers and other stuff but these are the money makers. I add the cucumber juice to my water throughout the day. Every morning I make a juice shot with tumeric, ginger, beet and lemon juice with a dash of black pepper. Make sure you wear gloves and cover your counter if necessary because the turmeric stains and so can the beets. Eating an anti-Inflammatory diet helps also. Oh! And stretching! I hope you find something that helps!!
